About MyDogPics: dog photo gifts made from your own photo
MyDogPics is an online shop for US customers that turns one photo of a dog into pajamas, clothing, blankets, mugs, ornaments and other keepsakes. You upload the photo on a product page, we check it and prepare the artwork, and each piece is made after you order, then shipped with USPS tracking.
What MyDogPics makes
Everything in the shop is a dog photo gift, personalized from the picture you upload. The dog shown on a listing is only an example, so any breed or mix can take its place.
- To wear: dog face pajamas for adults and kids, plus t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts and socks.
- For the home: blankets, pillows, mugs and portraits for the wall.
- To keep: ornaments, including Christmas ornaments for the tree, and memorial gifts for a dog who has died.
Some designs let you choose a background, and some take more than one dog; each product page shows its own options, sizes, materials and price. You can also shop by recipient or occasion in dog mom gifts, dog dad gifts, new puppy gifts and Christmas dog gifts, or see every custom dog gift at once.
One photo, many products
Every order starts the same way, whatever it is printed on. We separate your dog’s face from everything around it in the photo and set it into the design you chose, either as a pattern repeated across fabric or as one larger image.
Our pajamas are printed by dye sublimation. Under heat the dye becomes a gas and settles into the polyester fibers, so no printed layer sits on top to crack or peel. The guide to cotton versus all-over-print fabrics explains why that method needs polyester.
For the rest of the range, each product page lists the size, material and options of that item, so you can compare before you upload. A multi-dog design also states how many dogs it takes, with one photo per dog.
From upload to your door
- You upload. On the product page you choose the options, pick a background where the design offers one, and upload the original photo file, not a screenshot.
- We check and prepare. We look over your photo, then cut your dog’s face out of the background and place it in the design. A photo that is too small, dark or blurry to print well gets an email from us asking for a replacement, sent before printing.
- We print and ship. Your item is printed after the order is placed and sent by USPS with tracking.
You will not be asked to approve a proof or a preview, because the photo check takes that place. The full sequence is on how it works, and the photo guide shows which photos print well before you upload one.
Our policies in plain words
- Shipping: US addresses only, with free US shipping on every order and USPS tracking on every parcel. Current production and delivery times are kept on the shipping page.
- Changes: you have 12 hours from ordering to change or cancel by email, provided the order has not gone to print.
- Returns: each item is personalized for one customer, so there are no change-of-mind returns. Within 30 days of delivery, a misprint, shipping damage, the wrong item or anything that differs from your order is put right with a remake or a refund, whichever you choose. The returns page lists what is not covered, such as the quality of the uploaded photo, a size picked wrongly at checkout and normal wear.
- Photos: kept for 12 months after the order, then deleted, and deleted sooner whenever you ask. See the privacy policy.
- Payment: handled by our payment provider; MyDogPics never sees or stores your full card number.
What you will not read about MyDogPics
Some things are missing from this site on purpose, and it is fair to tell you why. Each would be easy to write and impossible for us to back up.
- Made-up social proof. No reviews or star ratings written by us, no customer counts and no “as seen in” badges. Any review you read here will come from a buyer.
- Craft we do not practice. Nobody paints or draws the artwork. It is prepared digitally from your photo and printed.
- Specs we cannot back up. Size, material and options come from the product page of each item. Where we do not know a detail, we leave it out instead of guessing.
- Delivery promises in odd places. Timing is published in one place, the shipping page, so there is one set of numbers to trust and it stays current.
