A custom dog pillow starts with a photo you already have. We cut your dog out of the background, build the pillow artwork around him and print it — no proof step, which is what keeps the turnaround short. A name can go on it if you want one. Every photo is checked before printing, and we email you if it will not hold up.

2. We check the photo and prepare the artwork
We look at every photo before it goes to print. If it is too small, too dark or too blurry to print well, we email you and ask for another one first.
3. We print and ship
Your product is printed from your photo and shipped with USPS tracking. Production takes 2-3 business days, then 3-5 business days in transit inside the US.

What makes a photo print well
- Good, even light — daylight works best; avoid harsh shadows and backlighting.
- Sharp focus on the face — you should be able to see individual fur detail.
- The whole head in frame — ears, top of the head and chin, nothing cropped off.
- The biggest version of the file you have — send the original, not a screenshot or a photo re-saved from a chat app.
- One dog per photo, unless the product has a multi-dog option.
- You own the photo, or you have permission to use it.

Custom Dog Pillows: common questions
What kind of photo works best for a pillow?
A close photo where the face is in focus and lit by daylight. A pillow prints the face large, so a small or heavily zoomed photo shows its limits faster here than on a smaller item.
Is the background taken out?
Yes. Your dog is cut out of the photo and placed into the pillow design, so the original room or yard behind him is not printed.
Will you send me a preview first?
No — we print from your uploaded photo. What we do instead is check every photo before printing and email you for a better one if yours is too small, dark or blurry to print well.
Can the pillow have my dog's name on it?
Yes, adding a name is optional. We print the name exactly as you type it, so check the spelling at checkout.
Can I have more than one dog on the pillow?
On pillows with a multi-dog option, yes. Pick the number of dogs, then upload one photo per dog.
What if I only have an old photo?
Send it. Age is not the problem — focus and light are. If the file is too small or too soft to print well, we email you before printing rather than shipping something you would not want.
