What makes a photo print well
- Good, even light — daylight works best; avoid harsh shadows and backlighting.
- Sharp focus on the face — you should be able to see individual fur detail.
- The whole head in frame — ears, top of the head and chin, nothing cropped off.
- The biggest version of the file you have — send the original, not a screenshot or a photo re-saved from a chat app.
- One dog per photo, unless the product has a multi-dog option.
- You own the photo, or you have permission to use it.

How many photos do I need to send?
One good photo of the face is enough. The pattern is built from that single cut-out, repeated across the print.
What photo works best for a face pattern?
A head-on photo in daylight, close enough that the face is sharp and both eyes are visible. A face turned away or in shadow loses detail once it is scaled down into a repeating pattern.
Do I get to approve the pattern first?
No. We print from the photo you upload — there is no proof to approve, which is what keeps the turnaround short. Every photo is checked first, and we email you if it will not print well.
Can I get two dogs in the same pattern?
On the products with a multi-dog option, yes — upload one clear photo per dog.
