Privacy Policy

This policy explains what MyDogPics collects when you order, what we do with the photo you upload, and how to have your data deleted. Short version: we use your information to make and ship your order, we keep your photo for 12 months so we can remake or reorder it, we delete it sooner if you ask, and we do not sell your data.

Last updated: September 13, 2026. This policy covers mydogpics.com.

Who we are

MyDogPics operates mydogpics.com and sells personalized products printed from photos that customers upload. You can reach us at [email protected] about anything in this policy.

Order history and order notes Support, remakes, refunds and reorders

We never receive your full card number. Card details are entered on our payment provider’s own systems and we only ever see the confirmation.

Your dog photos

The photo you upload is the part of this that people care about most, so it gets its own rules:

  • We use it to prepare the artwork and print your order, and for nothing else.
  • We keep it for 12 months after your order so we can remake the item if something goes wrong and so a reorder does not mean starting over. After that it is deleted.
  • Email [email protected] with your order number at any time and we delete it sooner.
  • We do not sell your photos, we do not license them to anyone, and we do not put them in ads, on social media or on this website unless you tell us in writing that we may.
  • Uploaded files are stored with the order and are not published in a public gallery or listed in the site’s media library.

By uploading a photo you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it. See the terms.

Who we share data with

Only the companies we need to run the store, and only the part each one needs:

  • Our payment providers handle the payment itself and receive your billing details directly.
  • Our print and fulfillment partner receives the artwork and the shipping address so your item can be made and posted.
  • The carrier (USPS) receives the shipping address to deliver the package.
  • Our hosting provider stores the website and its database.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.

Emails you get from us

Order emails — confirmation, a request for a better photo if we need one, shipping and tracking — are part of the purchase and are sent to everyone who orders. Marketing emails are only sent if you tick the box asking for them, and every one has an unsubscribe link.

Cookies

The store uses the cookies WooCommerce needs to work: remembering your cart, keeping you logged in, and carrying you through checkout. These cannot be switched off without breaking the store. We do not run third-party advertising or tracking cookies on this site. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.

How long we keep things

  • Uploaded photos and artwork: 12 months after the order, then deleted.
  • Order and payment records: kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
  • Account details: until you ask us to close the account.
  • Support emails: up to 24 months.

Your rights

Email [email protected] from the address you ordered with and you can ask us to: send you a copy of the data we hold about you, correct something that is wrong, delete your photo, or delete your account and personal data. We answer within 30 days. We may need to keep order and payment records even after deleting the rest, because tax rules require it. If you are a California resident, you have these rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for using them — and we have no sale of personal information to opt out of.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS, accounts are password protected, and access to orders and uploaded photos is limited to the people who need it to fulfil your order. No system is perfect; if a breach ever affects your data we will tell you.

Children

This store is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data, we update this page and change the “last updated” date at the top. Material changes will also be mentioned in an order email.
